Hampton Inn Ridgefield Park, Ridgefield Park

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were nice and offered great value for the price, but they definitely need a full repair as some were out of service during my stay. The service was fantastic though, with very friendly staff who went out of their way to assist me, especially on the first shuttle. The location was a bit tricky to access, near a busy highway, but it was convenient for reaching the New Jersey transit. The dining experience was decent, although not up to the usual Hampton Inn quality I've experienced before. Overall, it's a hotel with some positives and areas needing improvement.

When I arrived, the room was dirty with someone else's hair in the bathroom. The pool was also very dirty, and the air conditioning didn't cool well, making me sweat a lot. I wouldn't go back there and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I hope to get a refund to switch to a different hotel with my family. The room was big and clean, but it didn't smell good initially.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the hotel. The rooms were decent, equipped with a fridge and microwave, although there was a constant loud noise throughout the night. The refreshing cleanliness upon entry was a definite plus, and the room size was comfortable.

The hotel is conveniently located right off the highway, making it easy to reach within minutes. However, the room had a slight smoke smell in a non-smoking facility, which was a downside.

The hotel had a mix of experiences. The rooms were clean and excellent, but mine had someone else's hair in the bathroom and the pool was very dirty. The air conditioning didn't work well, and I was sweating. I wouldn't return and can't recommend it to others. I felt like I should have received a refund to find a better place for my family.
